Diagramming Blue

Line drawings from the Thinking Blue corpus, one for each word searched, built back up through their mediations: the photographs a word gathered, the traces cut from each one, and the blues found in them, each named from 675 names across eleven colour systems. Writing threads through the shapes; hover a word to follow its sentence back down to the photographs. The loupe (L) shows any pixel as the three lights that make it.
