The Patch — EnTwining the Data

An interactive Twine created with Esteban Morales and presented for the Electronic Literature Organization as “EnTwining the data: A digital arts-based representation of research” — a novel, interactive way to represent multimodal research method and data.

Rather than flattening a collaborative inquiry into linear prose, the Twine lets a reader move through the study by choice: following a thread of linguistic data, doubling back through the network of concepts, or dropping into the schematic that maps how the pieces connect.

The workshop schematic reads as a circuit: conference abstracts feed an Infranodus visualisation, pass through IReadFast and poetic networking into recombinant modalities, then out through text-to-MIDI sonifications and an Infranodus performance. Play, explore, create; find questions to ask; rediscover your data.
