Machinic Fiction

A hand-drawn machine rendered as a single enormous schematic — an insulated chamber of consensus, an archetype generator, a zone of housekeeping, an exhausting sandbox, pixelated iterations of eternity — annotated in pen, pencil and marker as though it were a real apparatus with real parts.

The drawing is built as a web piece with invisible regions layered over it, so the diagram is navigated rather than simply looked at: moving across the surface turns the reader into someone operating the machine, following its labelled couplings from one absurd, exact component to the next.
